When the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike VaporWaffle first leaked last month, it would be an understatement to say that we were shocked beyond belief. Taking Chitose Abe’s signature high heat hybrid to an entirely different level, the model was indicated to debut as part of the two designers’ couture collaboration. If you thought the aforementioned pair was crazy, then wait until you see these brand new leaks!
Literally unlike anything we’ve seen before, this unreleased VaporWaffle is pure insanity in a shoe. working on a breathable Flyknit base, multicoloured suede accents can be found throughout the shoe in green and yellow tones, and additional leather elements feature on the high top collar. While other sacai x Nike collabs quite elegantly combine shoes together to create one seamless design, this one is attached with thick leather stitching that’s very clearly inspired by the Air Footscape Woven.

Elsewhere, you’ll find the normal doubled up aesthetic, with two Nike Swooshes, two lacing systems, and even two Waffle midsoles to boot for a stacked look. Interestingly enough, the multicoloured masterpiece also boasts a custom-made blue and white striped insole that’s a nod to the JPG label.
We’re not entirely sure if the sacai x Jean Paul Gaultier x Nike VaporWaffle will ever see the light of day, but we don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. let us know what you think of this crazy three-way collaboration, and while you’re here, you might as well take your first look at the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Off Noir”!
