After getting a first look at the ‘Pine Green’ last week, Jordan brand has now unveiled the Air Jordan 1 ‘Fearless Ones’ Collection, and it’s pure fire. Comprising of a wide range of Lows and Mids from some of the industry’s most hyped collaborators, it also includes with first ever AJ1 to utilise FlyEase technology.
Kicking it all off is the FACETASM x Air Jordan 1 that we previewed earlier this month. As premium as it gets, it features a striking orange pull tab around the heel for added convenience. Jumpman also team up with LA-based artist Blue The great for a multicoloured AJ1 that’s made up of suede and corduroy. Additionally, New York’s culinary collective Ghetto Gastro have cooked something special up, infusing the basketball silhouette with a Huarache-like tongue and a react foam midsole.
The second half of the pack is as ambitious as the first, with a nylon woven AJ1 from CLOT that boasts Edison Chen’s signature wear-and-tear design. This is followed up with a sky blue variant from Parisian lifestyle brand Maison Château Rogue, as well as a mismatched iteration design by Melody Ehsani that literally features a pair of gold watches that act as lace locks.
As well as this, Jordan brand will also drop six legendary Jordans, including the ‘Shattered Backboard 3.0’, the ‘Zoom’, the ‘Bloodline’, and of course, the first AJ1 with Nike FlyEase technology. With a zipper and strap FlyEase System for easy, one-handed heel entry, this is perfect for those motor impairments.
