Last week, Virgil Abloh took to the runways of Paris fashion Week to unveil his hotly antipcated Fall/Winter 2019 collection. From retro-vintage pieces to Michael Jackson-inspired collections, the Off-White founder also unveiled a fibre optic-infused weekend bag and a light-up sneaker that completely stole the show.
Building on the Louis Vuitton Keepall silhouette, the bag pretty much broke the internet, garnering well over 330,000 likes over on Instagram. Rumoured to cost over £20,000, you’ll need to sell pretty much all your organs if you want a chance to cop. The sneakers, on the other hand, have had people scratching their heads.
Two tiny LED screens feature on the tongues, while light up side panel and midsole detailing create a rainbow-like effect. With a price tag of around £5,000, you’ll need pretty deep pockets and plenty of connections to add these grails in your collection.
